Luna is a sweet, affectionate pup who shines like her namesake, the Moon. After spending time living outdoors, she’s now ready to learn the joys of life inside a loving home. Luna thrives in one-on-one interactions, giving gentle kisses and wagging her tail at the sight of her human friends.
Luna walks well on a leash and knows the “sit” command. She is polite and loving, making her a wonderful companion for the right adopter. In 1987, an initial attempt was made to organize a local humane society in Caroline County. While this attempt did not succeed, those same dedicated volunteers were not deterred.
From our humble beginnings 30 years ago, to where we are today, we are proud to be called “the little shelter that could”.
We provide service to our community through pet adoption, Rabies Clinics, Trap-Neuter-Return, Pet Pantry, Pet Lost & Found, Re-homing, Intake Diversion, Cremation
