Please complete our online adoption application if you wish to apply for one of our adoptable pets. Adoption fees range from $200 to $400. All dogs adopted from PAWS come with 1 month of free daycare at KC PAWS. All pets adopted from PAWS will be current on their vaccinations and spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to their release.

If you are interested in meeting one of our pets, please complete our online application which can be found at kcpaws.org An adoption coordinator will be in touch within 24 to 48 hours to set an appointment for you. Please be patient as we often receive multiple applications therefore the time frame may vary slightly at times.

More about this shelter

We are an organization determined to work for the benefit of animals in need. Whether it be helping to find new homes for our adoptable friends or working in connection with local and City agencies to investigate cases of cruelty and neglect. Our staff is able to handle a wide variety of these types of issues as well as working with animals with behavioral, socialization, or training issues.

All pets adopted from PAWS will be current on their vaccinations and spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to their release.
