We're excited to share the latest on our lovable boy, Chunky, rescued from the Oklahoma hoarding house!
🌟 **Walking Enthusiast**: Chunky absolutely LOVES his walks! He happily lets you put on his leash and the only time you’ll see his tail wagging is during his daily strolls. He’s calm and non-reactive, even enjoying a relaxing day at the park watching a tennis match, surrounded by pets, birds, and other dogs!
🛁 **Bath Time Buddy**: This sweet boy adores bath time and is the perfect gentleman during grooming.
🚗 **Car Ride Companion**: Chunky is great in the car, although he does have a tendency to want to sit up front with you!
🚽 **Potty Training Pro**: He’s on a 7-day streak of only going potty outside with no marking issues. What a good boy!
🏡 **Home Sweet Home**: Chunky prefers to have some space to roam. He’s happy and content in a gated area and has been left alone for 9 hours without any issues. Just a heads up: he doesn't like being confined and might chew on crates if he's locked in!
🌿 **Calm and Collected**: He takes daily calming chews to help with anxiety but hasn’t needed any prescription meds since recovering from HGE.
🧸 **Chew-Friendly**: Chunky is an anxious chewer, so he’ll need single-layer blankets and lots of durable toys to keep him entertained.

All dogs adopted from PAWS come with 1 month of free daycare at KC PAWS. All pets adopted from PAWS will be current on their vaccinations and spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to their release.

We are an organization determined to work for the benefit of animals in need. Whether it be helping to find new homes for our adoptable friends or working in connection with local and City agencies to investigate cases of cruelty and neglect. Our staff is able to handle a wide variety of these types of issues as well as working with animals with behavioral, socialization, or training issues.
All pets adopted from PAWS will be current on their vaccinations and spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to their release.
