Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hank is an awesome 7-year old male kitty who was brought to the HSOV on May 18, 2025 by a Good Samaritan who found him on Third Street in Lowell Ohio. Hank was not wearing a collar, and he was not microchipped.
This handsome guy has a beautiful gray tabby coat with a triangular patch of white on his chest, a white belly/paws, a long ringed tail, and a beautiful chubby face with golden eyes, a dusting of white on his muzzle, a tiny gray 'beauty mark' beside his nose, and long white whiskers.
Hank was given vaccinations and Pyrantel wormer on May 23, 2025. He was given booster vaccines on June 6, 2025.
Hank has a super-sweet personality and was quite the gentleman when these photos were taken on May 29th. Hank politely sauntered to the front of his cage for some extra TLC/petting and then posed like a 'pro' while he 'sat pretty' for his Petfinder/Facebook photos.
Surprisingly nobody called or came looking for this magnificent kitty. Since Hank was not reclaimed, we will have him neutered (hopefully in mid-June) and find him a loving home either through adoption or rescue.
Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation.
When Hank was taken to a veterinarian clinic for his neuter appointment on July 7, 2025, his pre-surgery examination initially indicated a Grade 5/6 heart murmur. Thankfully his Snap Feline ProBNP Test indicated a normal result/level, so Hank was able to safely have his surgical procedure.
Hank was neutered on July 7, 2025 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 8.5 lbs that day.
Hank is a pushover for attention and loves to snuggle in your arms. He appears to be ok with other cats and children as well as cat-friendly dogs. Hank is currently in a large cat tower in our lobby where he loves to greet people and enjoys taking 'power naps' on his soft blankets.
Happy Update: Hank was adopted on July 12, 2025.
