Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Twizzler is a happy, silly girl who loves to snuggle and give kisses. She has an adorable habit of army crawling across the floor—and if the moment feels right, right up the couch and into your lap. One of her funniest quirks is putting her head on the ground, flipping herself over, and showing off her tummy for belly rubs! She loves stuffed toys, a good game of fetch, and tug of war.
Twizzler still has plenty of puppy energy. She can be strong on leash, though she’s improving her leash skills with practice. Twizzler feels her best with two walks a day, at least 30 minutes each.
When meeting new dogs, her enthusiasm can be a bit much at first. She really wants doggy friends and will sometimes whine when she sees another dog on a walk. A confident, playful companion who can match her energy would be ideal.
She gets very excited when meeting new people and can be a little jumpy, especially outside. She does better with calm, indoor introductions, and her enthusiasm may be too much for small children. Twizzler will eagerly chase rabbits and squirrels, and while she gets excited about cats, she could likely learn appropriate behavior with slow introductions and time.

Welcome to CMHS! In continuous operation since 1943, the Central Missouri Humane Society promotes the well-being of companion animals – pets that enrich the lives of the people who love them.
The Columbia Humane Society was formed in 1943 to provide shelter and care for Columbia’s abandoned animals.
