My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Luna is a bulldog mix with a heart as big as her smile. Before rescue, Luna spent her life on a chain, missing out on all the joys of simply being a dog. But youd never know it from the way she lives nowLuna is absolutely thrilled to be free, loved, and part of every adventure.

This sweet girl greets each day with boundless enthusiasm. She adores attention and wont let you wander too far without reminding you shes available for immediate head scratches. Luna also has a blast romping around the play yards, tossing toys around, and soaking in every ounce of love and freedom she can get.

Though we can tell shes been a mom before, Luna is bursting with the energy of a young pup whos finally discovering the good life. Shes also extremely food-motivated, which makes her both eager to please and a great candidate for training and learning new skills. She loves going for walks and does great on leash, and wouldn't mind a good run now and then.

Luna is looking for a forever home where she can continue to thriveone filled with love, patience, and plenty of playtime. After all shes been through, she deserves nothing less than a future as bright as her spirit.

Luna can be selective about her doggy friends, so she needs good introductions before heading for play dates.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is three-fold: submit an application, meet the pet, then arrange for us to do your in-home interview.
Adoption Fees:
Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.
Some special circumstances may change the fee; see pet's listing for actual adoption fee.

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).

Microchip:
CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf.

Go meet their pets

Most of our pets all live in our homes, so adoption applications must be submitted for appointments to be made to see the pets. We also have them with us at our outdoor events, so view our "events" calendar on our website for those dates and locations.
