Barley entered Orange County Animal Care as a stray. When he wasn't claimed, we scooped him up to become a Frosted Face on June 5th.
Barley is estimated to be 10 years old, weighs 10 lbs., and is very sweet. He went on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we could learn more about him in a home environment.
Barley's Fling Mom reports:
"Barley has the face of a Basenji and the body of a chihuahua. He is so stinking cute!
Barley is happy to be scooped up like a baby and cuddled. He is a sweet, sweet boy. He gives little kisses sometimes. He bops all around with his little tail just wagging away. He loved getting neck and chest rubs; he always started on his blanket or bed, but always ended up cradled in my arms fast asleep.
We spent lots of time taking walks (with him riding in the stroller) and snuggling on the couch. Barley has such a cute personality. He loves to pull blankets around, and roll and dig in blankets and bite at them.
Barley is very chill. He sleeps the majority of the day and through the night. Barley has limited vision, so he tends to wander in small circles as he explores. He's a very joyful little dog when he's up wandering around.
Barley is just the best boy and will be a wonderful addition to the lucky family who adopts him!"
Barley is currently enjoying a second Fling while he waits for his forever family. Might that be you?
