My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Berlin is a sweet, affectionate, and playful pup with just the right mix of puppy energy and cuddle expertise. He loves being part of whatever you’re doing—whether that’s heading out for a walk, tossing a toy, or settling in for some well-earned couch time. Once he’s had his fun, Berlin is perfectly happy to curl up next to you and soak up the love.

Berlin is crate trained, mostly potty trained, and sleeps well through the night. He walks nicely on leash and would happily join you for a jog if that’s your thing! He may bark occasionally when he’s excited, but he’s mostly a quiet guy. Around new people and dogs, Berlin is curious and friendly—he just appreciates a few minutes to warm up before showing his full, loving personality.

This treat-motivated pup is eager to learn and already knows his name and “sit.” He’s working on more commands and will thrive with continued positive training. Toys are one of his great joys—especially chew toys and anything he can fetch—and he’s always up for playtime followed by snuggles.

Berlin would do best with a family ready to give him guidance, patience, and plenty of affection as he continues to grow into the confident, happy dog he’s meant to be. In return, you’ll get a loyal companion who brings joy, laughter, and lots of cuddles into your life.

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.

Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States and Korea.
