Meet Meta!
Meta is a 3-year-old mixed breed pup with the sweetest personality and a big heart ready for his forever home. He’s playful, affectionate, and endlessly curious about the world around him. Whether he’s exploring the neighborhood, chewing on his favorite bone, or snuggling on the couch, Meta is happiest when he’s close to his humans.

Meta loves meeting other dogs during walks but would thrive as the solo dog in his new home. He bonds deeply with his people and would do especially well with someone who works from home or is around often. He’s an easygoing companion who will loyally curl up beside you while you work, relax, or unwind.

Energy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): 6 - He loves going on walks where he can sniff and explore all his surroundings, and daily 1:1 time playing steal the ball. Otherwise, he loves relaxing on the couch or anywhere his human is. 
Barker? Or Quiet Pup?: Meta is the chillest, quiet pup.
Walking Manners: Meta is very curious and loves meeting every dog! He usually approaches new friends cautiously, and if they’re up for it, he’s always ready to play. He can get overly excited at times, but he’s learning how to stay calm. His leash manners are improving with every walk, and he’s doing great!
Appetite: He's a hungry boy!
Commands/Tricks: Sit, Paw, Stay, Come. Currently learning Leave It. 

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.
