Meadow is a beautiful 3-year old female Beagle mix who was brought to the HSOV on June 1, 2025 by a Marietta Ohio City Police Officer who had picked her up on Warren Street in Marietta Ohio. Unfortunately Meadow was not wearing a collar, and she was not microchipped.
This little girl has a tricolor short smooth with blue/brown ticking, a long tail, and an adorable face with dark brown eyes, a brown mask, and large floppy ears.
Meadow has a sweet, outgoing personality and loves attention.
Meadow weighs 24 lbs and was rather strong on a leash when we took quick photos on June 2nd. Our HSOV Kennel Techs were in the process of returning Meadow to her indoor floor crate after enjoying an afternoon of sunshine/fresh air in the great outdoors and Meadow was happy to be walking with someone.
In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Meadow was held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that her family would have an opportunity to reclaim her with proof of ownership. Sadly, nobody called or came looking for this lovely little lady.
Update: Meadow went home with a foster family on June 7, 2025 who plans to adopt her after she is spayed.
Meadow was spayed by her foster family's veterinarian and was officially adopted on June 26, 2025.
