My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bonnie!

Ahoy there, landlubbers! Meet Captain Bonnie, the snuggliest pirate this side of the living room. With one eye and a heart full o’ gold, she’s sailed stormy seas, found herself lost at sea as a stray but then luckily washed ashore into a loving foster home, where she’s traded treasure hunts for belly rubs and cannonballs for couch cushions.

Like any proper pirate, Bonnie’s got just one eye, but she doesn’t bother with a patch, and she’s not here to plunder your gold or pillage your pantry. No, this sweetheart is on a quest to plunder hearts and pillage laps, collecting cuddles like precious jewels and generously doling out love.

She adores kids supervising them from her favorite perch, tolerates calmer cats (as long as they don’t mutiny), and prefers to be the only dog aboard her ship. Other canines? Nay, she’ll send ‘em walkin’ the plank. Bonnie’s days of sailing stormy seas are behind her.

Now in the safety of her foster home her hobbies include: lounging like a true couch potato queen, cuddling her crew (especially the wee ones), patrolling for unclaimed pillows, and casting a legendary side-eye at any cat who dares get too sassy. Bonnie’s looking for a forever home where she can live out her golden years in peace and comfort. She’s sweet, playful, and ready to be your loyal first mate.

More about this rescue

We started out fighting for our baby boy, Lucci, who was killed due to Airport Animal Emergi-Center Clinic's breed prejudice. When he was killed, we make a promise that no bully would be left behind. Now we try to save as many bullies as we can!
