This gorgeous girl has a story that will break your heart and fill it right back up again. 💔➡️💖 Found as a stray in Nogales, Honey landed in doggy jail, skinny, stressed, nails overgrown, and clearly a mama not long before. No one came looking. Just days away from being euthanized, her life changed when @paws_without_borders scooped her up and promised her the future she deserves. ✨
Now Honey is ready to write her happily-ever-after — and she’s hoping YOU will be the leading character. 🏡💕

• 18 months old | 55 lbs of wigglebutt joy
• White & tan beauty with the softest ears
• Loves people & does well with other dogs (with proper intros—even littles!)
• Great in the car (road trip partner, anyone?)
• Smart, eager to please, & working on leash skills
• Playful, goofy, and LOVES adventure
• Seems good with kids, but still a puppy at heart (zoomies, mouthing & bouncy love included!)
Honey is the perfect mix of silly zoomies and soulful snuggles. She’ll keep you laughing with her puppy antics, be your co-pilot on adventures, and then melt into your arms for cuddle time. 🐾💛 She’s resilient, she’s radiant, and she’s SO ready to love her forever family.

We require all animals to meet current resident animals and for there to be a 1-3 night overnight trial period. Following this, if the dog is a good fit, we will fill out adoption forms.

We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs from the streets of Mexico in cooperation with other animal rescue organizations in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
Our shelter in Hermosillo, Sonora, Vidas Con Causa, currently has over 150 dogs. There, we provide medical care and a loving place for them to heal before coming to the US, then we foster and work on finding the perfect fit for adoption. You can also visit the available dogs at the rescue in Mexico. Our rescue partners spend a lot of time getting to know the dogs and we know MOST of their
perks and quirks!
We help special needs dogs, the amputees, the pregnant Pitties, the MexiMutts, those from small independent shelters who don't get much notice, the cancer patients. We provide round-the-clock care until these dogs are ready for rehoming.
