Additional info:
Winter is a gentle, quirky little soul who is slowly learning what it means to feel safe and loved. She was found as a stray and we lovingly took her in. She had UTI symptoms and was treated but her wonderful fosters noticed that her symptoms were not improving. Back the vet she went and they discovered and surgically removed two bladder stones bigger than macadamia nuts lodged in this tiny girl. Who knows how long she was suffering and in pain? But no more! She is healed and her true personality is beginning to shine
At home, she enjoys quiet companionship, cozy naps in her crate, and walking adventures. She LOVES to be outside on walks! She’s still working on potty training and needs a patient routine to help her stay on track. Winter can be sensitive to touch when she’s resting or unsure, and will need someone who can respect her space and read her cues.
Because of her bladder stones and resulting surgery she will need to be on specialized urinary health food for her life to avoid future bladder stones.
We think she's magical and perfect and a beautiful survivor. Will you be the person to love her forever?
