My name is Shadow!

This happy-go-lucky youngster is Shadow. He was picked up as a stray on 6/12. He weighs 40 lbs, is neutered and is about 1-1 1/2 years old. There is so much to commend this boy! He is high spirited and enthusiastic. He is a fun-loving, tail-wagging fellow. In the meet and greet room there is a toy box and I believe he took out every single toy to play with! He likes treats and yet does not know how to sit for them. He confided in me that his owner didn’t teach him any commands so he can’t be held responsible for that! However, he did assure me that he’s a smart boy and with just a little training, he would be able to learn a good number of commands. This playful boy really needs an active family or person to adopt or foster. His hope is that there will be a box full of good toys to play with, a cushy bed or two and a backyard in which to stretch his legs. He wants to be an integral part of the family so that he can bond and enjoy life as an esteemed family member. Shadow is a friendly youngster and was perfectly fine with being petted and loved on! He is optimistic, hopeful, and dreams of a loving home soon!
