Baked Beans, or as we call her, Beans, is a super sweet girl. She is a little wary of new people at first and takes a some time to warm up to them. She prefers if you let her approach you when she is comfortable.
She knows basic commands, is housebroken, loves car rides and sleeps through the night and if you let her, she is happy to have a lazy morning.
Beans is calm inside the house but once she gets outside, she is ready to play. She plays hard so she'd do best in a home without small children. She just doesn't know her size and strength. She loves to chase the ball and play tug. I think she would do well with another dog of her size that can handle rough play.
She is not a fan of baths. We have been working on getting her used to just going into the bathing area.
We don't use a crate with her, she stays in our mudroom when we leave the house. But we have one set up for her and she started to go in and chill out for a little bit.
She loves to go on walks. Walking on the leash can be tough at times. She loves to try to chase the squirrels, rabbits, birds and even their shadows if they fly overhead. She loves to stop and smell the flowers or whatever she finds interesting.
We have been working with a trainer. She needs some work still but she is smart and will improve with time and patience.
