Chance is the definition of a cuddle bug. Affectionate doesn’t even begin to cover it as this gentle soul lives for human closeness. He wants to be wherever you are, curled beside you on the couch, snuggled up in bed, or settled into your lap for a cozy nap.

Once a neglected stray, Chance came in scared and in rough shape, but with time, care, and love, he’s blossomed into an incredibly sweet and devoted companion. He still has a cautious streak and can be skittish at times, but he’s learning that the world (and people) can be kind. It’s clear he was someone’s beloved pet in the past as he’s polite, clean, and wonderfully house-trained.

Chance doesn’t have any teeth, so he’ll need to stick to wet food and soft treats. He’s not much of a jumper and may have a bit of stiffness in his hips, so he prefers lounging to leaping. He’ll tolerate being picked up, but he especially loves gentle pets on his face and head.

This tender, soulful boy would thrive in a calm home with someone who wants a constant cuddle companion. If you’ve got a warm lap and a kind heart, Chance is ready to give you his whole one in return.
