Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Basics: 1.Housetrained? Yes 2.Good with dogs? Yes 3.Good with cats? Unknown 4.Good with kids? Unknown 5.Details on leash training, crate training , litter box training and other training commands known: walks well on a leash. Does not need to be crated. She is a good girl who does not go after things or has accidents in the house. In fact, with her pretty gnarly arthritis in her legs she shouldn’t be crated. She needs opportunities to get up, reposition and move herself. 6.Details on personal history, if known (how did he/she arrive at the shelter): unknown Animal’s characteristics:
1.Describe cuddling behavior/affection level: Super affectionate and would cuddle all day if you let her. She’s a super snuggle bug. 2.Describe play behavior and favorite toys: she’s not really interested in toys. I’ve been using lick mats, snuffle rugs, and treat dispensers for enrichment. She really enjoys those. 3.Describe activity level: She will engage with my other dog some, loves her kiddy pool, and roaming my large yard. She is older and more of a couch potato. 4.Look into the animal’s eyes. What is he/she telling you? She’s been through some things. Her eyes look tired and weary sometimes. She’s telling me that she deserves a home where she can be the couch potato and cuddle bug she is. She is so grateful to be in a home!! 5.What are the best adjectives to describe them? Intelligent, loyal, friendly, loving 6.What does the animal specifically DO that exemplifies those adjectives (ex. Maybe a good adjective for the dog is “loving”. You know that because he lays his head in your lap.) She comes to you for pets and cuddles all day, and is never afraid to show you how much she loves you. She’s will try to climb in your chair with you to be as close to you as she can. She’s very loyal and loving. 7.What are the animal’s best qualities? Her calm nature. She’s very laid back and tolerant. She’s my first greeter when I get home from work, and there to lick my hand every time my alarm goes off in the morning. 8.What are your favorite things about him or her? Cute behaviors? One of my favorite thing about her is how her one ear perks up when she is interested in something. Another thing I really love about her is the love she has for her humans. 9.What is/are your favorite physical characteristic(s) of this of this animal? I love that she’s a pit bull who still has her ears. 10.What would the ideal home
