I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Due West, and I am a cute little kitten! I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my kitten self.
What my Foster Says About Me: (7/15) Due West follows the beat of her own drummer! She is a beautiful kitten who likes to play with her siblings, but also really enjoys entertaining herself with all the toys! She is also very laid back in general, doing her own thing. She is staring to really love ear and chin scratches as they get her purring. She uses the litter box perfectly. Due West is a cutie!
(8/1) As a litter they are a super playful and rambunctious bunch but they all settled really fast. They are all very comfortable around humans and really enjoy getting pets and cuddles. They also love a clean litter box. Quite literally, the second I try to clean it, they swarm over and try to use it. They’re also all quite comfortable being handled and I have been working on touching their paws. It took maybe 2 sessions for each but I was able to give them all nail trims. They’ve also never tried to scratch me either. I have a dog who loves observing them through the gate, and they really don’t seem afraid. I find them staring at Athena all the time and they seem fascinated by her. I could definitely see them adapting to a dog easily especially one that’s calmer. Compass and West are usually the ones interacting with the dog. Due West really should be named Houdini cause she’s always the one that’s trying to escape the kitten room. When it’s chill time, she prefers to nap on her own usually under the couch, but when she wants cuddles she will definitely seek you out and monopolize your lap. A little bit more reserved and independent compared to her siblings.
(8/20): Due West is even cuddlier than before. While still more reserved than her sister, especially when it comes to interactions with my puppy, she loves to cuddle. If you want a lap kitty, she is your girl. Once playtime with her sister is over, she very much prefers to be in my lap or on my desk watching and napping as I’m working!
Kitten Vetting Requirements: Your kitten may not be fully vaccinated upon adoption. You will be responsible for providing whatever remaining vaccines are needed to complete the kitten vaccine series.
TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for adult cats is $200 ($350 for two cats adopted together). The adoption fee for a kitten (under 7 months old) is $220 ($380 for two kittens adopted together). If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online at bit.ly/adoptaluckycat.
