I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Due South, and I am a cute little kitten! I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my kitten self.
What my Foster Says About Me: (7/15) Due South is a beautiful kitten both inside and out. She has the most beautiful, interesting markings. She is also a wonderful sibling, they all love to play with her, and she enjoys playing with all the toys, pouncing with gusto! Due South also really enjoys a good chin scratch! She is perfect with the litter box. Due South is a sweetie!
(8/1) As a litter they are a super playful and rambunctious bunch but they all settled really fast. They are all very comfortable around humans and really enjoy getting pets and cuddles. They also love a clean litter box. Quite literally, the second I try to clean it, they swarm over and try to use it. They’re also all quite comfortable being handled and I have been working on touching their paws. It took maybe 2 sessions for each but I was able to give them all nail trims. They’ve also never tried to scratch me either. I have a dog who loves observing them through the gate, and they really don’t seem afraid. I find them staring at Athena all the time and they seem fascinated by her. I could definitely see them adapting to a dog easily especially one that’s calmer. Compass and West are usually the ones interacting with the dog. Due South loves play time, belly rubs, and comfy beds. She’s always on a soft blanket or pillow. Maybe that’s why she’s usually found cuddling with Compass. Very sweet girl but a little more reserved.
(8/20): Due South is now so much bolder, adventurous, and mischievous. A door will not hold her back. She can be quite vocal when she wants attention or food. This girl wants to explore! But once playtime is done, she is happily comes back for pets and cuddles. She’s gotten on fabulously with my dog and there’s been a kiss or two, so I think she’ll be highly adaptable to any household.
