My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peaches Pound Cake —a sweet, smooshy bulldog girl with a big smile, an even bigger head, and a heart that belongs entirely to her people.

Peaches has classic bulldog energy: she enjoys walks and light activity, then happily crashes on the couch or dog bed. She walks well on a leash, is friendly with kids and new people, and shows her love through cuddles. She does great in the house, is fully house trained, and does not require a crate.

This girl is very people-focused and prefers to be wherever you are. She’ll go outside to potty but would rather come back in with you—unless the weather is nice and there are kids to watch, in which case she’ll relax in the sun for a bit. Car rides make her a little nervous, but she does fine when she can stay close and focus on her people. Bath time goes smoothly with treats or peanut butter for encouragement.

Peaches is affectionate, treat-motivated, and loves a good game of tug. She’s not a rocket scientist, but she knows what she wants and isn’t shy about letting you know. She’s mostly quiet, doesn’t bark at neighboring dogs, and has decent recall since people are far more interesting than other animals. Peaches would do best as the only pet, as she’s not good with cats or other dogs.

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.

We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.

We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.

We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
