My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Libby

This 2-year-old, 8-pound brown Chihuahua is the definition of tiny but mighty. With eyes that will absolutely melt your heart, it’s hard to believe she was dumped on a rural country road with nine other dogs—left to fend for themselves against the elements and predators. Thankfully, our rescue team rushed in to get them all to safety.

Libby is now thriving in foster care and embracing the life she always deserved. She’s a sweet, happy girl who loves soft beds, cozy laps, and all the pampering a princess could dream of. Libby is great with dogs, cats, and children. She’s crate trained and currently working on her potty and leash skills.

If you’re looking for a loyal little companion to spoil and love, Libby would be a fabulous addition to just about any family.

Additional adoption info

The adoption donation varies on the age, breed and vet care provided. All of our dogs receive all necessary vaccines, spay/neuter, microchip, and dewormings. All of our long haired dogs are professionally groomed and our senior pups receive a dental. After filling out an adoption application, one of our team members will check your vet reference and set up a time for you to meet the dog. We do a home check as part of the adoption process and all members of the household (human and canine) must meet the dog prior to finalizing the adoption.

More about this rescue

We are a 100% foster based rescue organization. We do not have a facility that you can visit as each of our dogs live in foster homes until they are adopted. We run off of donations and every dollar helps!
