Maggie is a 5-year-old long-haired Chihuahua with a quiet soul and a deeply loyal heart. She’s the kind of girl who chooses her person and sticks close, happiest when she’s right by your side. If you’re looking for a true “take me everywhere” companion, Maggie is ready for the job.

She does well with children who are respectful of her small size and gentle nature. Maggie gets along with other dogs but prefers not to share her food, so a home that can manage mealtimes separately would be ideal. She came into rescue with a kitty companion and would do just fine in a home with cats.

Overall, Maggie is sweet, calm, and affectionate. She’s a classic velcro girl who thrives on companionship and would love nothing more than to be someone’s constant little shadow.

The adoption donation varies on the age, breed and vet care provided. All of our dogs receive all necessary vaccines, spay/neuter, microchip, and dewormings. All of our long haired dogs are professionally groomed and our senior pups receive a dental. After filling out an adoption application, one of our team members will check your vet reference and set up a time for you to meet the dog. We do a home check as part of the adoption process and all members of the household (human and canine) must meet the dog prior to finalizing the adoption.

We are a 100% foster based rescue organization. We do not have a facility that you can visit as each of our dogs live in foster homes until they are adopted. We run off of donations and every dollar helps!
