My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Darth Tater carries himself with the quiet confidence of a kitten who suspects he might have secret powers. A laser or feather wand is all it takes to activate them, sending him darting and pouncing in playful bursts that feel straight out of a galactic training session. When the action settles, he slips into soft snuggles, happy to recharge with his favorite humans. He brings a calm presence with just the right touch of comedy. Darth Tater is ready to share his charm and a hint of the galaxy with his new home.

More about this shelter

CCA was founded in 1980 by a small group of individuals dedicated to helping animals. Since then, our group has grown to include a small shelter. Our group's mission is varied: to maintain a shelter for abandoned, sick or injured animals; to adopt out dogs and cats to loving permanent homes; to provide for their animals low-cost spay/neuter assistance to families who lack the means to pay; and to strive to prevent and to stop abuse and/or neglect of an animal.

We are always in need of volunteers! If you are interested in becoming a part of our group, please let us know by calling 864.243.4222. We'd be glad to have you on board!
