My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Grayer – Your Loyal, Loving, Playtime Pro!

Are you looking for a four-legged best friend who brings energy, affection, and plenty of fun into your life? Look no further than Grayer, a happy-go-lucky, people-loving pup who’s ready to find his forever home!

Grayer is approximately 2 years old. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations.

Grayer was rescued from the euthanasia list of a local shelter.

Grayer is a loving, affectionate dog with a big heart and an even bigger personality. This enthusiastic companion will greet you with gleeful pounces, a wagging tail, and lots of love. He absolutely adores people and thrives on human interaction, always eager to share his joyful spirit with those around him. Whether it’s cuddle time or playtime, he’s always up for bonding with his favorite humans.

Playful and full of life, Grayer greets every day with enthusiasm. He’s house trained and has completed basic training, proudly showing off the commands he knows—especially when treats are involved, as he’s highly food motivated. He plays a great game of fetch, loves tennis balls, tug toys, and squeaky plushies, and often gets the zoomies when he’s having fun. Despite all the excitement, Grayer is the kind of dog who checks back in with his person, making him a loyal companion and a great listener.

Grayer gets along well with other big dogs and loves to play, although he can be rough at times. He has become best friends with Watson, who is also available for foster or adoption through the rescue. Grayer would likely thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard where he can safely run and play to his heart’s content.

His combination of goofiness, smarts, and affection makes him a truly special dog.

If you’re ready to laugh, play, and be loved unconditionally, Grayer is ready to meet you!

Additional adoption info

If you see an animal you are interested in, please email info@fixingtheunbroken.com

An application, veterinarian reference, and home check are required for each prospective foster / adopter.

There is an adoption fee of $125 for animals under 1 year of age and $100 for each animal 1 year and older. This fee helps cover the cost of vaccines, spay/neuter, and a microchip. Each animal in our rescue receives medical care from a veterinarian from the day they enter the rescue until the day they are adopted. This adoption fee covers only a small fraction of overall medical costs.

Fixing the Unbroken reserves the right to decline any foster or adoption for any reason.
