My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Luna – A Loving, Loyal Girl Ready to Be Someone’s One-and-Only!

Luna is a mixed breed who is approximately 5 years old and 45 pounds. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

Luna was rescued from the euthanasia list at a local shelter.

Luna is a sweet and affectionate girl who is searching for her forever home. She’s friendly, playful, and truly thrives when she’s spending time with her people.

Luna is also incredibly intelligent, crate trained, and house trained. She walks well on a leash, is a great listener, and loves to show off by sitting and offering her paw when asked!

Luna has a playful side too! She loves toys, especially tennis balls, and enjoys splashing around in her kiddie pool. When she’s not playing, she’s perfectly happy lounging around the house.

Luna has done okay with some cats (though she may try to engage them in play) and with non-dominant male dogs, but she would likely do best as the only dog in the home where she can soak up all the attention and companionship she loves.

If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will bring lots of joy and love into your life, Luna might be the perfect match for you!

Additional adoption info

If you see an animal you are interested in, please email info@fixingtheunbroken.com

An application, veterinarian reference, and home check are required for each prospective foster / adopter.

There is an adoption fee of $125 for animals under 1 year of age and $100 for each animal 1 year and older. This fee helps cover the cost of vaccines, spay/neuter, and a microchip. Each animal in our rescue receives medical care from a veterinarian from the day they enter the rescue until the day they are adopted. This adoption fee covers only a small fraction of overall medical costs.

Fixing the Unbroken reserves the right to decline any foster or adoption for any reason.
