My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Orlando is a sweet, affectionate, and gentle 3-year-old boy who’s ready to find his forever home. He truly loves people and has a heart full of trust. His love language? Physical touch. Orlando is a professional hugger—he’ll gently nestle his head into you and stay close, soaking up all the affection he can get.

He’s currently being fostered in Danbury, CT with a loving family that includes three dogs and two cats. Orlando has fit in beautifully, enjoying playtime with his foster siblings and adjusting seamlessly to home life.

Though he may be a little shy at first with new people, a bit of gentle encouragement and a soft touch help him open up quickly. Orlando is very smart, learns quickly, and has great potential for advanced training.

With his lean, muscular frame and striking good looks, Orlando could be a doggy supermodel—though he’s blissfully unaware of it. That innocence only adds to his charm. He’s like a lovable teddy bear who just wants to be close to someone who cares.

He’s also:
• Potty trained
• Crate trained
• Walks well on a leash

Orlando’s journey began when he was found on the street as a puppy by a Good Samaritan. He was brought to SOS El Arca Animal Rescue, where he was raised with love and care. Thanks to our incredible fosters, he finally got the chance to leave the overcrowded shelter and experience home life—and he’s absolutely thriving.

Orlando is:
• Neutered
• Up to date on all vaccinations
• Microchipped
• 4DX tested (negative for heartworm)
• On flea/tick/heartworm prevention
• Dewormed
• Health certificate ready

If you believe you’re the right match for Orlando, please fill out an adoption application at www.sosanimalwelfare.org. We can’t wait to introduce you to this gentle soul.
