My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bruce is as goofy as they come. He is a big boy who acts like the biggest kid ever. He and Knuckles know and love each other. They are great friends from their past. Once reunited it was such a wonderful thing to see and made us cry.

He is great with every person and animal he meets.

Bruce loves to play with his friends and curl up with you. He likes to jump up and give as many kisses as possible, so be prepared for a wet face.

Bruce doesn’t like to be left alone; he will need another dog friend.

Bruce has had a very hard life. Yet, through it all he stands tall and you wouldn’t know that he went through any of it. His story is long and can be discussed in depth via phone or meeting with serious applicants.

Bruce is crate trained, house trained, and leash trained.

Bruce is about 2 1/2 years old at the time this is posted and we think he may have German shepherd and Siberian husky in him.

Go meet their pets

Since we are a foster based rescue and don’t have a shelter all meet and greets must be scheduled and walk-ins are not an option. We will travel throughout the Treasure Valley and surrounding areas/states if that means the dog will find their forever home! When we host adoption/community events we will always post them on our Facebook Page Northern Star Dog Rescue.

More about this rescue

We are Northern Star Dog Rescue, a completely foster based non profit dog rescue! We specifically pull all of our dogs from the euthanasia list (most are there due to no fault of their own) and dogs that are homeless or in bad housing conditions. We take them in and place them in foster homes until we can find them their forever homes! We do what we do because our team has a STRONG love for animals especially those that are in dire situations.
