My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Georgie, the handsome American Pit Bull Terrier, is not just any dog. He's a bundle of joy, overflowing with charm, affection, and a contagious happy-go-lucky spirit. And he's ready to be your constant companion, best friend, and loyal lover. At just one year old and 43 pounds, Georgie is a young, energetic pup who's been through quite a journey already. Georgie's story from a home that had another dog, and he and Georgie would frolic one minute and tumble the next. Now Georgie found himself in a shelter, longing for a loving home once again. But his upbeat demeanor never wavered, and he continued to brighten up the lives of everyone he met. Georgie is special in more ways than one. He's a people-pleaser who is always happy to see you and eager to please. His charming personality and intelligence make him a quick learner, always ready to impress with new tricks. But beyond his charm, Georgie's biggest trait is his affection. He loves nothing more than cuddling up with his humans and showering them with unconditional love and kisses. As an energetic and playful dog, Georgie would thrive in a home with kids aged 12 and older, who can match his enthusiasm and keep up with his high energy levels. Although he may prefer to be the only animal in the home, he's all the company you'll ever need. Whether it's going for a run, playing fetch in the park, or snuggling on the couch, Georgie will be your constant companion and faithful friend. Georgie's endearing personality and loving nature make him the perfect addition to any family looking for a playful and affectionate dog. So, if you're ready to open your heart and home to this irresistible bundle of joy, come meet Georgie today. He's waiting to find his forever home and melt your heart with his irresistible charm. Adopt Georgie and make your family complete!

More about this rescue

Our goal is to help the animals and citizens that need us.
Our reach is far, wide and we do our best to never refuse aid. Through education, support and life saving,we hope to make a difference in Connecticut.

We strive to get as many dogs adopted as possible via our rescue. We have our own dog shelter and hold weekend adoption events to find forever homes for our pups. We provide veterinary care, behavioral assessments and training to make each animal successful in its new forever home. Though we no longer adopt cats out, we do assist other local rescues in the networking of homeless cats, including trapping and trap-neuter-release.

We collect food, toys and other needs for our rescued dogs including veterinary donations for their care while in rescue. We network for dogs at local shelters and lend a hand to our rescue friends whenever we can. We also advocate for the well being of the dogs and their living conditions and strive to better improve the long standing customer service issues at many Connecticut Animal Control facilities. We also help the public with questions, training, referrals to veterinarians etc. Through constant media promotion and proper assessments of the dogs, we hope to save as many lives as possible in our day to day mission.

This RESCUE group is CT registered and has APPROVED 501(c)3 status with the Internal Revenue Service. All donations to Brass City Rescue Alliance are tax deductible.
