My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

King Neptune is a male leopard gecko estimated between 2-5 years old. He came to us when he was dumped at a local pet store by his "owners". This solid boy is very sweet and enjoys handling. He eats very well on dubia roaches and mealworms dusted with calcium powder. He will require a minimum 20 gallon long enclosure, although we strongly recommend a 40 gallon. King Neptune is on a non adhesive shelf liner substrate with multiple hides and lots to climb on. King Neptune is ready for a new start!

All of our dogs, cats, rabbits & ferrets are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Small animals are usually not altered. We have adoption applications, a short interview process, and an adoption fee for each animal. All animals (except rabbits & small animals) are up to date on all shots.

We hold adoption events on Saturdays at Petsmart in Mishawaka from 11-3. We also hold other events throughout the year. Company Overview
Heartland Small Animal Rescue Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization serving South Bend, IN and surrounding towns by taking in homeless pets and adopting them out into loving homes. We also work closely with local shelters to reduce euthanasia rates by pulling animals and putting them in our program.
