My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Azul, a beautiful white-and-brown Hound mix with an estimated age of about 1 year old. This lovely girl was recently found in McDonald, TN, after being dumped on a rural road. Despite her challenging start, Azul is friendly, gentle, and full of energy, ready to find a loving family to call her own.

Azul was discovered thin and covered in ticks, sleeping under a trailer. Thanks to the kindness of her foster family, she quickly warmed up and began thriving with proper care, food, and attention. She may have recently had puppies, and she is now ready to settle into a forever home where she can feel safe and loved.

Azul is friendly with familiar adults and children (especially ages 10 and up) and gets along well with other dogs, including female and larger dogs. She has a strong prey drive, so a home without cats, chickens, or other small critters is best. She’s potty-trained, responsive to commands, and loves affection. With time and patience, Azul will likely become a devoted snuggler.

Her ideal home would be with a dedicated family who can provide plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and training. She’d thrive with another dog and in an active household where she can go on adventures, enjoy playtime, and be part of the family’s daily life.

Azul’s foster family can provide a bed and some food when she goes to her new home.

If you’re looking for a trainable, loving, and energetic companion who will blossom in a home that can give her attention and structure, Azul is ready to meet you and become your loyal best friend!
