DOB 4/9/25
Punky is from a litter of 4 that was found in an abandoned home with a heavy feral cat colony population at just 3 weeks old. These sweet kittens were rescued just in time to get the help they needed and had a tough first couple weeks of treatment to bring them back to health.
This sweet girl was determined to be feral for a couple weeks. She had the best mean mugging face we have ever seen-it was adorable! Then one day, she decided she wanted to try being petted and embraced her tortie side and it was like a switch was flipped. When we used to open the door she would run away, now she is the first to run toward the door. She is always the shyest in the litter when facing new things, but she has a unique character that once she adjusts, she’s not shy in the least. She is bonded to her brother Po and likes him to go out and risk his life for new things first and then as long as he survives, she’s all in. She’s really the smartest girl and absolutely gorgeous.

Adoption fee $100 for adult (over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for FIV/FELV, microchipped, have received age-appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first serve. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home.
Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all-volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet.
Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs. One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat in the home for the kitten to befriend. It may come as a surprise to hear this, but two kittens are actually half the work of one! Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of the cats while also making your life easier.
In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit.
