My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say Hello to Chaka Khan — or Cha Cha!

Yo! I’m Chaka Khan (but my friends call me Cha Cha) — and I’m ready to show you what real kitten love feels like. Born in a shed with my superstar siblings, our litter is named after some of our favorite legendary musicians, and I’m here to become the superstar of your heart!

From the start, I’ve been the ultimate cuddlebug — I always want to be the first one in your arms. Seriously, I’d rather soak up your hugs than even think about dinner (though I won’t turn down a tasty snack!). No amount of noise — vacuums, saws, hammers — fazes me. I stay snuggly and calm through it all.  So what are you waiting for? I believe there “Aint Nobody Love Me Better than You!” And, I’m ready to steal your heart and fill your days with love and purrs.

Go meet their pets

We will be holding adoption event days with PetSmart on Ft Jackson Blvd and Two Notch Rd as well as PetSense on Garners Ferry Rd. These are partnerships that we've initiated and that have been greeted with open arms by these great organizations. MUCH More to Come!

More about this rescue

At Cat Around Town Project, we believe that by spaying and neutering as many stray and colony cats as possible, we are proactively controlling overpopulation at its source. All kittens and any cats that are adoptable are removed from the colonies and adopted to suitable homes. One day, when the supply meets the demand, there will be a home waiting for every kitten in our community. .
