My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I’m Zuri! I am a priority pet!

I’m a soft, snuggly girl who loves nothing more than being held close or tucked under a warm blanket. You’ll always know when I’m happy because I purr loudly enough to make you smile! I can be a little shy when things get loud—thunder and fireworks aren’t my favorite—but I always come out for food and cuddles.

I get along with other cats once I’ve had a little time to get used to them, and I’d be happiest in a calm, loving home where I can feel safe and adored. If you’re looking for a cozy companion who loves to snuggle, I just might be your girl.

As a Priority Pet, Pawmetto Lifeline is offering FREE basic medical care for LIFE for Zuri!
That includes:
Annual exams for life at Pawmetto Lifeline
Core vaccines for life at Pawmetto Lifeline
Cost of medications plus 10% (*excludes HW/flea prevention) through Pawmetto Lifeline

My adoption fee of $25 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?

If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday are walk in from 10-5.

More about this shelter

Pawmetto Lifeline, formerly Project Pet, was founded in 1999. Since the opening of our adoption, medical, and boarding facility in Spring 2012, we have been able to save more than 15,000 companion pets from euthanasia and gave them a new lease on life. We continue to strive toward the goal of a no-kill community and state through adoption, pet retention, rescue partnerships, and medical services.
