Princess is a very sweet social 8 year old Maltese looking for a lap! She’s a Velcro dog that wants to be with her people as much as possible and doesn’t understand personal space. She gets along with male dogs who accept her as their queen, uses wee wee pads as well as going outside, and loves meeting new people and making new friends. She is hypothyroid and just needs an inexpensive pill twice daily for life that she takes easily in a meatball of food, and otherwise is a young healthy active senior, under 10lbs, spayed, updated on shots and ready to go! Since COVID-19, we are no longer holding our Sunday adoption events until further notice, but we are scheduling meet and greet appointments with a specific dog or dogs at our meeting spots in Northern NJ. We are a small all-volunteer organization focused on rescuing local dogs from area shelters, as well as accepting some surrenders and puppy mill rescues.
