Marshmallow is as sweet as his name! This lovable 9 year old Shih Tzu/cocker mix (according to his owner) is a social butterfly who loves meeting new people and making new friends. He’s about 10lbs and other than a heart murmur which needs to be monitored but doesn’t require medication at this time, is a “young healthy” senior, loves walks and playtime and is a fun happy guy who could pass for half his age. Since COVID-19, we are no longer holding our Sunday adoption events until further notice, but we are scheduling meet and greet appointments with a specific dog or dogs at our meeting spots in Northern NJ. We are a small all-volunteer organization focused on rescuing local dogs from area shelters, as well as accepting some surrenders and puppy mill rescues.
