Cat’s Name: Daisy

Cat’s Age & Sex: Daisy is approx 8 mos old and a petite female

Cat’s vetting history (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped): Daisy was spayed on 4/30/25, received all vaccines and is current on flea treatment/deworming.

Animals story: (where found and reason for wanting to rehome): Sweet Daisy was found with her 3 kittens in an abandoned trailer. Her beautiful kittens were fostered and adopted out through Furry Nation Salvation but once we trapped Daisy to be fixed (we ALWAYS trap the moms to be fixed), we realized she was absolutely the sweetest little thing and couldn’t go back to that unsafe place. She was such a good mom and deserves much better.
Personality (shy, social, likes to be held, lap cat? Likes or Dislikes): Daisy is an absolute DARLING!! This gorgeous dilute calico LOVES to be petted (purrs like a machine!) uses the litter box with ease , and is friendly with other cats (but will stick up for herself if they take advantage of her sweetness.) She enjoys being close to her foster, curls up with her to watch tv at night, just a delightful little lady. She would love to be your shadow and cuddle bug!

Any Supplies that go with pet (food, litter, leash, cat box, bedding, toys):

Some food and a favorite toy to make the transition as smooth as possible.
What food is the cat eating (dry only, dry and wet): Daisy is given wet food at least twice a day and a little dry as a dessert.
:::::::::::Please know that cats need canned wet food given DAILY. Why? Because cats have a low thirst drive and actually NEED the moisture from the wet food! Wet food is 75 % water (dry FOOD only 10%) and giving them wet food daily will help them avoid Urinary tract issues (which can lead to litter box avoidance), kidney disease, obesity issues linked to diabetes and cardiac issues. You will save on vet bills too! Limit the overly processed dry food and ensure cat eats all the wet food daily. At the VERY minimum each cat should get one 3oz. can of wet food a day or HALF of a 5.5oz. can a day (although we recommend double this).

*Please know, that when you bring your newly adopted cat or kitten home, it is always BEST to place him/her in a very small room (bathroom works great) with their litter box, food, water, and bed for a few days to a few weeks. This way the animal can adjust much quicker and get acclimated to the new environment with less stress. All cats/kittens need time to adjust, so if you adopt please allow this. Thank you.
