Meet Gumshoe

**Background:**
Gumshoe began his journey at Memphis Animal Services in June 2024, where he quickly captured the hearts of everyone around him. Recognizing his potential and charm, Team Memphis Rescue took him in from another rescue, giving him a second chance at finding a loving home.

**Personality:**
Gumshoe is a delightful blend of playfulness and gentleness. As a lab mix, he embodies the typical friendly and affectionate nature of the breed. Known for his big heart and lovable personality, he thrives on human interaction and is always eager for treats, which he takes with a grateful wag of his tail. His playful spirit is infectious, and he brings joy to anyone lucky enough to spend time with him.

**Behavior:**
Gumshoe is well-mannered and walks beautifully on a leash, making him an excellent companion for strolls around the neighborhood or adventures in the park. He is fully potty trained, showcasing his intelligence and adaptability. In the play yard, he loves to show off his zoomies, running around with excitement and joy. Gumshoe is also sociable and gets along well with other dogs, making him a great fit for a multi-pet household.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

• Current pets must be spayed/neutered, UTD on annual exams, heartworm tests, vaccines & consistent heartworm prevention.

2.
Interview

We will have a volunteer call personal and vet references. We will interview applicant if all information provided is accurate.

3.
Home Check

We do in home visit checks or via video chat. Video Chat If adopter lives out of our area, if a volunteer Is unavailable.

Or we help arrange private (or volunteer) transport for your pet if adopter isn’t in our local area.

Additional adoption info

We are all volunteers, but we try to have all applications processed in 7 business days.. If you are approved, then we will send you an adoption contract and transport information. Payment must be made once contract is finalized.
We try to answer all inquiries. If you are interested in a pet the best way to meet that pet is FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Since we are all volunteers, applicants must be approved before a meet/greet.

Team Memphis Rescue & Support provides assistance to Team Memphis Rescue & Support approved rescues by transporting pets from shelters, boarding facilities, Veterinary clinics and foster homes. We help evaluate temperaments of pets and network to find foster homes. Animal Rescue is an ongoing battle. We are stronger when we stand together.

Team Memphis Rescue & Support provides medical care, including vaccinations, microchip and spay/neuter for all our adoptable pets. With years of experience, our goal is to find the perfect fit for each dog as well as the best pet for your family.
