My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Capri – Your Sweet, Gentle Shadow

Capri is the perfect first dog for someone looking for a calm, loving companion. She’s incredibly sweet and a total cuddle bug who’s happiest simply lying beside you. With her low-energy, easygoing nature, Capri thrives in a peaceful home where she can relax and feel secure.

She gets along wonderfully with other respectful, low-energy dogs and can even be best friends with a cat. Capri has excellent manners — she doesn’t beg at the table, isn’t food aggressive, and is both house and crate trained. She’s also impressively quiet — her foster hasn’t heard her bark yet! Capri loves going for walks and does beautifully on the leash — she never pulls and enjoys taking her time to explore by your side.

Capri can be a bit shy at first and takes a little time to fully settle in, but once she feels comfortable, she’ll quietly follow you around, wanting to stay close. She doesn’t like being alone for long and may get anxious during thunderstorms, so she’ll do best with someone who can offer her gentle reassurance and companionship.

If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate dog who will adore you and bring a sense of peace to your home, Capri is your girl.
