Meet Italy!
Italy is as sweet as sugar and as cute as a button! With her soft fur, curious eyes, and gentle nature, she’s the kind of kitten that melts hearts instantly. London came into foster care with her mom and three siblings and has been thriving ever since. She absolutely loves the company of her littermates and would be over the moon to be adopted with one of them—or into a home with another friendly cat to keep her company.
Italy is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. She loves zooming through cat tunnels, batting around her favorite toys, and wrestling with her siblings. Once she’s tired out, she’s happy to curl up in a cozy spot or snuggle close for some quiet time. She’s also a big fan of gentle pets and human companionship, always nearby and happy.
While Italy is confident and social, she truly blossoms in a calm, loving environment where she feels safe and supported. She does best with kind people who give her space to be her sweet, silly self—and having another cat friend around really brings out her bold, playful side!

The process is quite simple! Please stop by and see for yourself. All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to going home.

We are a non-profit open intake shelter that serves all of East Baton Rouge parish. We strive to improve the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in our parish. We house approximately 400 animals at any given time. We take in 20-30 new animals a day. We are always in need of fosters both short and long term, donations, and volunteers.
