My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cheyenne is a 9-month-old domestic short-haired girl who has been loving and resilient from the start. She thrives on human companionship and adores being petted, often rubbing against her foster mom’s dogs and curling up for a gentle cuddle. Cheyenne was found as a kitten and has been in foster care since she was about 10 weeks old. She faced a respiratory virus early on and was diagnosed with Feline Herpes. For many cats, this diagnosis can be challenging, but Cheyenne has shown remarkable resilience. Stress has historically triggered flare-ups, causing runny eyes and congestion, but these episodes are manageable with good care and a nurturing environment.

Cheyenne has lived in foster care with other cats and dogs and has shown herself to be adaptable and sociable. She’s currently enjoying a happy, stable life while receiving ongoing care for a Feline Herpes virus (FHV-1) flare-ups. *Important notes: Cheyenne is not contagious to people or dogs, but the virus can be transmitted to other cats, especially in stressful situations. With a calm home, regular veterinary care, and a little extra TLC, Cheyenne can lead a joyful, love-filled life and bring years of companionship to her forever family.

Cheyenne’s loving temperament shines through every day: she loves to be petted, enjoys close contact with her animal friends, and is eager to share affection with her human family. With time, stability, and a little extra care, Cheyenne is ready to brighten the life of a forever home!
