I am a 5-year-old, spayed Pit Bull Terrier. I am microchipped, heartworm tested and current on my vaccines.

Things staff and volunteers have to say about me:
I am a goofy girl who is very food motivated and eager to learn! If you have a treat, I’ll do anything you want! I love going on walks and getting all my energy out. Once I’ve had my exercise I love to snuggle up on the couch with my humans. I would love an adult only home as I have boundaries that I need respected.
Activity level/Energy Level (1-10): 7 or 8/10
Housetraining Status:I am working on it! A consistent schedule and lots of praise will help me learn even faster!
I should do well in a home: I will need to meet any and all dogs in my potential household. I will need a home with adults only, and no cats or other small animals.
Favorite Activities: Getting affection and following my favorite people around is the best! I LOVE to do tricks and agility if you have treats to offer me.
Doggy Day Out Notes:
This lovely girl did great on our day out. I think today was a much needed day away from all the chaos for her. She was great in the car, never barked, and was very affectionate with gentle kisses and lots of belly rubs while we hung out. She took a great nap in a cozy chair and then was charged up to play but never got too wild or crazy. Amazing dog and she would be an amazing sdekick!"
"She is such a sweet dog. She loves looking out the window on car rides, and she even rolled down the window herself at one point. She was very treat motivated and sat, laid down, and did shake for a treat. She saw a ton of people today, she did great, was very sweet and wanted all the attention. She pulls a little on leash and gets excited especially when going in the pet store but she does listen well when redirected! She is a great dog!"
"Zailey did so well today! She met a couple new people. She got a little chilly when we went to get coffee so we brought her back home and she curled up on the couch and took a big nap, she was snoring :) She did great with everyone she met and loved her new toy. She was so happy to be in a home setting, didn’t have any accidents all day!"

We are located at 911 Critter Court in Onalaska (right behind the Gundersen Lutheran Clinic). Animal visitation hours are from 1:00pm - 4:00pm Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. Office hours are Monday-Friday 9-5p, Saturday and Sunday 1-5p.
