My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful tuxedo cat is shy and cautious. He will likely need time adjust and get comfortable to new surroundings. Sammie will quickly find a favorite spot to hide from surprises. He is a true introvert, at least at 1st introduction. But once he comes out of his shell, he is a love bug. He likes to throw himself on the floor in front of his human to be rubbed on his back & sides. Do it right & be rewarded as he rolls over so you can rub his other side as well. He is facinated with his reflection & has a love for shadows on the wall. A laser pointer would have no chance against him! But when not playing with lights Sammie is calm & quiet. A good cat who is not out to bother anyone. He is just a soothing friend in this otherwise crazy world.

More about this rescue

Puppy Kitty NYC was founded in the Fall of 2014. As of July 2018, we are an official 501(c)(3) organization. We focus on three aspects: First, finding homes for abandoned or friendly street cats and kittens. Secondly, attempting to control animal overpopulation by spaying and neutering feral cats and helping the sick and injured. Thirdly, fostering is a must.
