My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet 1 year old Marnie, 43 pounds of pure love and affection! Her favorite thing to do? Be with her people. After a few minutes of snuggling and nudging for pets, she will settle beside you. She is very smart, eager to please and treat motivated. She knows sit, stay, come, breakfast, dinner, outside, go empty, down, no and stop! She also loves toys! She will squeeker-ectomy a stuffie in a few sessions and loves her super kongs and tug-o-war rope. She is crate and house trained and has had zero accidents indoors. She walks well on the leash in the neighborhood, and we are working on pulling in new and interesting environments. She is a champion zoomer when off leash! We have not had the opportunity to see how she does with kids and cats yet but given her energy level, she would likely do best in a home without small kids. If you would like to make Marnie the newest member of your family, apply today. She can't wait to meet you!August 24, 2025, 4:39 pm

More about this rescue

Adopt a Homeless Animal Rescue (AAHA) is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and assisting animals in crisis. We actively combat animal cruelty in any form.

We have a particular commitment to pit bulls and aim to raise awareness about the breed, help those in need, and educate the public:
•We seek to promote this lovely yet unfairly maligned breed as the sweet, intelligent, affectionate, and people-oriented dogs they are.
•We assume stewardship over their well-being and strive to make this world a better place for them.
•We serve as a resource and/or liaison for shelters, individuals, and the community at large, advocating for any animal in harm's way.
•We also function in an advisory role for private citizens who seek assistance and guidance in better caring for their pets.

We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Please help us help the animals!
