Because they want what’s safest and happiest for everyone involved (including me!), they’re working hard to help me find the perfect forever situation—with the help of a rescue and lots of love along the way. Let me tell you a little about myself! I’m very friendly with people and absolutely adore human companionship. I’m house-trained, walk nicely on a leash, know my basic commands, and I’m super food-motivated (treats are definitely the way to my heart!). I’m affectionate, eager to please, and would love nothing more than being your loyal sidekick. While I’ve lived with other dogs in the past—including both boys and girls and even sharing cozy spaces—we’ve learned that I feel most comfortable and secure when I don’t have to share my home with another pet. An only-dog home would help me feel confident, relaxed, and truly at my best. My family is committed to keeping me safe and happy and is willing to foster me for as long as needed while a rescue helps find my forever home. They’re especially hoping to avoid me ever going back to a shelter, because they believe—just like I do—that I deserve a bright future full of love.
