My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

As with most color point breeds, Basil was all white when he arrived in rescue as a week old baby boy. He has colored up beautifully and has fancy white mitts and beautiful lynx point markings.

As he has grown, so has his personality. He LOVES to be held and kissed on the nose. He returns kisses with gentle little licks on your cheek or chin. He is such a loving little boy, especially at nap time. But there is a time and a place for snuggles and then other times for action! Basil sprints through the house at full speed trying to get the rest of his age-mates to join in a game of chase. He loves to wrestle and play with the other kittens in his foster home and would love a young cat or kitten to play with in his forever home.

Basil's favorite day is any day a new box is delivered to the house. He is the first to jump in (whether the contents have been removed or not) and play. He loves the crinkly paper used for packing.Left to his own devices he can have paper strewn across the room and halfway down the hall before you know it! He is definitely all kitten.

Nap time comes on fast and we humans have learned to watch where we step when walking around the house since you never know where you might come across a sleeping kitten. Basil has been known to curl up in the middle of the floor and fall asleep. Since he is a similar color to the rug it has become a necessity to tread carefully.

Basil is very socially adaptable, does well with the adult cats as well as the resident dog in his foster home. Basil has not been around Children.

Basil is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.

He currently lives with his foster family in Woodland.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Basil please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact April Fields at aprilfieldsrvt@gmail.com If you are unable to reach April Fields please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!
