Born February 6, 2021 Awarra is a male Pitbull/Shepherd mix seeking a forever home. He is a parvo survivor! He potty trained with a doggie door in his foster home. He is great with other dogs and has been exposed to cats and kittens. He is 60 pounds and is likely full grown. His foster mom describes him as playful, affectionate and silly. Awarra takes a bit of time to warm up to new people but once he does, he's all tail wags and friendliness! We require an adoption application to be filled out which includes personal references. An in-Home check by a Mikey's Chance volunteer is also performed prior to adoption. Our dogs come to the adopter "ready-to-go" with current Vet health checks, all shots and vaccinations current and the animal spayed or neutered, as well as micro-chipped.
Our adoption process can take 2-4 weeks to process as we are run completely by volunteers, all of whom work full time jobs.
