Born approximately August 5, 2022, Sonne is a handsome German Shepherd. He was found dumped in Sunnyside with his littermates and had no social skills when he was caught. Sonne is an aloof dog who takes a while to warm up to people. He is potty trained, crate trained, and takes treats nicely. Sonne is a home body who prefers to stay home on a comfortable dog bed to going on adventures. His favorite things are squeaky toys. Sonne would be best in a home with another confident and friendly canine companion, and people with patience and commitment to his training. A secure, six foot fenced yard is a requirement for this boy. Children over 8 would be okay, or an adult only home. We require an adoption application to be filled out which includes personal references. An in-Home check by a Mikey's Chance volunteer is also performed prior to adoption. Our dogs come to the adopter "ready-to-go" with current Vet health checks, all shots and vaccinations current and the animal spayed or neutered, as well as micro-chipped.
Our adoption process can take 2-4 weeks to process as we are run completely by volunteers, all of whom work full time jobs.
