Meet Max — The Puppy-Hearted Goofball Ready for His Happily Ever After!

Max may be 18 months old, but don’t let that fool you — he’s still very much a puppy at heart! Weighing in at just 17 lbs, this silly, high-energy boy is making up for the carefree puppyhood he missed. Max is full of zest for life, and everything is a game, a toy, or a chance to bounce around with joy.

He’s dog door potty trained, loves to play, and thrives with another playful pup by his side — which is why we’re ideally looking for a home with a second dog. Max has also become best buddies with another Underdog foster, and they’re available for adoption together if you're looking for a fun, bonded pair!

Max needs a securely fenced yard where he can run, explore, and burn off his happy zoomies. He would be a great match for a dog-savvy family who understands the needs of an active, still-developing young dog.

Max will do best with a family committed to:

Providing mental and physical stimulation

Ongoing socialization

Structured training and routine

Lots of playtime, belly rubs, and snuggles

All our dogs undergo comprehensive vetting, including spaying/neutering, microchipping, DHPP, flea treatment, deworming, and Rabies vaccinations. Additional vet care is provided as needed based on their requirements. The adoption fee for this dog is $250, serving as a non-refundable donation. Adoption fees may vary based on factors such as vetting costs, transport, and age.
