Meet AJ: Your Future Adventure Buddy!

AJ is a handsome 1.5 year old pit bull with a striking white coat accented by blue spots and one dazzling ice-blue eye. Weighing 50 lbs, this playful and energetic boy is ready for his forever home!

AJ is a fun-loving, active pup who’s great with kids, dogs of all sizes, and even cats! He’s still in his teenage phase and, like most young dogs, thrives on daily exercise and mental stimulation. He’s the perfect companion for an adventurous family—AJ loves going for walks, trips to the beach, and playdates with other dogs. His inquisitive nature and love for exploring make him an ideal dog for outdoor enthusiasts.

Though he's full of puppy energy, AJ is well-behaved. He’s potty trained, kennel trained, and leash trained. Since he can be a bit mouthy during play, a home with older children who can help continue his training would be a great fit. With proper guidance and care, AJ will flourish into the perfect companion.

AJ is neutered, heartworm negative, microchipped, dewormed, and fully vaccinated. If you’re looking for a loyal, adventurous pup to join your family, AJ is your guy!

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Please be as thorough as possible. Our goal is to pair you up with the perfect dog for your lifestyle

2.
Interview

Within 10-21 business days we will contact you via email if we have additional questions or to schedule a phone or Zoom interview

3.
Home Check

A member of the Doggedly team with visit you in your home (or virtually) to ensure it is the best fit for the dog

4.
Meet the Pet

A member of the Doggedly team will meet your family and your prospective pup either in a neutral area, the foster home, or your home

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

If you and the Doggedly team feel this is a great fit, you will sign the adoption contract to finalize and initiate the trial period

6.
Pay Fee

When you sign the contract you will also pay the adoption fee - which is refundable during the trial period minus any transport fees

7.
Take the Pet Home

Trial period begins - we require that you keep in close contact with your coordinator and follow the decompression/integration protocol

Additional adoption info

After the trial period Doggedly will still be available and actively involved in the dog's life, if at any time you need assistance or to return them we will be there!
