WHAT WALLEN'S FOSTER FAMILY SAYS ABOUT HIM:
Whether it's rocking and rolling in the back yard with my other dogs or rocking in the recliner with us, this guy is a total rockstar! Wallen is a friendly, outgoing guy who isn't shy about making new friends. He enjoys going for car rides especially when it's to go visit his doggy friends at the shelter! I work from home and Wallen entertains himself with toys or sleeps while I work. Sometimes he squeezes in the chair behind me! I guess he just wants to keep me company. He's yet to find a toy that he doesn't like and has learned to bring the ball back and drop it so we can throw it again. He's developed a fondness of blankets and pillows and absolutely loves to cuddle. We're working on his approach to joining us in the chair because currently he comes in like a little wrecking ball! Most evenings, he falls asleep in my lap before retiring to his crate for the evening. He's learned to SIT and will usually default sit when he wants something. He enjoys going on walks and would make an excellent companion for someone. The future is bright for this adorable guy!
All PAWS cats and dogs are current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. Age permitting, dogs/puppies are tested for heartworm disease. Cats/kittens are tested (and are negative) for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis. All are microchipped (for their safety and the adopter's peace of mind) as part of the adoption fee.
